Workplace Health and Safety Queensland have a number of Workshops for business owners relating to safety and injury prevention. These include Managing For Safety and Managing Sprains and Strains. Workshops on more specific industry issues such as ceiling hoist use in nursing homes are also available.

ASIEQ Employer Based Injury Management Conference, March 2010

Employers who successfully link Health, Safety and Injury Management at the workplace are consistently achieving better outcomes. A two day Employer Conference will be held in March 2010 at the Brisbane Convention Centre focusing on 'Lasting change through Employer based Injury Management.' The conference supported by the Queensland Government, Workplace Health and Safety, Q-COMP, WorkCover and major industry groups is designed to provide employers with information that will assist in developing and improving practices that will build a strong injury management foundation to achieve better long term outcomes.
